Our Story
aero Center, Inc.
Lyddon Aero Center, Inc. is a third-generation family business that has provided aviation services for more than 60 years. Bill Sr. founded Lyddon Flying Service in La Junta, Colorado, in 1965. The company expanded to two locations in 1975, when Steve and Bill took over the fixed-base operation in Lamar, Colorado. After 15 years, they left Lamar and established the business in Liberal, Kansas, on October 1, 1990. Today, Nathan Lyddon owns the company and has expanded its operations with an interior division, Southwest Aviation Custom Interiors. Steve and Bill remain involved in the business as employees.
